You will design two sterling silver twisted bracelets, add Swaroviski crystals for a twinkle to create stacking bracelets. These bracelets are stunning, colorful and amazingly different.

If you want to learn from the best of the best than Kieu’s classes are for you. I can tell you from personal experience (I took classes from her in Wisconsin), she is so much fun in class and her teaching techniques are exceptional. Kieu has been creating jewelry for more than 25 years, she had her own line of jewelry that sold in over 30 stores in 10 states. She does done it all. She has participated in numerous juried art shows, had two retail bead stores, and now she has a jewelry tools distribution company (TheUrbanBeader.com), regularly contributes to “Lapidary Journal”, authored two how to books “Hot & Cold Jewelry Connections” and “Minimal Metal Jewelry” and now teaches classes on Facebook Live weekly. Kieu is well known for the uniqueness of her designs and her passion, knowledge, and dedication for teaching metalsmithing.
With a twist and a twinkle you will be wearing two amazing sterling silver bracelets. They are colorful and amazingly different.
You will Learn:
Kieu will teach you the secrets to making sterling silver twisted bracelets. You will forge metal, use a torch, solder sterling silver, learn which type of solder to use, twist sterling silver wire, prep metal by filing, sanding, cleaning, texturing, quenching, annealing, use a jewelers’ saw, which size saw blades to use, how to use a wire twisting tool, a third hand and a tripod, how to polish with a tumbler, which tools work best, understanding the right gauge wire for the project, and finishing techniques.
Twisted sterling silver wire, forge metal, use a torch, soldering sterling silver. Prep metal, filing, sanding, cleaning, texturing, quenching, annealing. How to use a jewelers’ saw, size saw blades to use, use a wire twisting tool, a third hand and a tripod, polish with a tumbler, tools that work best, which gauge wire works best, and finishing techniques.

Everything you will need to complete this project.
Tools to Bring:
None ! Students will use studio tools.
What to Wear:
Closed-toe shoes is a must (we will be using torches for this project), wear old clothes. Latex gloves, apron, safety glasses and mask will be provided if needed.
What to Bring to Class:
A small notebook and reading glasses if extra magnification is needed.
