The name of this project is derived from a meditative doodling that has patterns, or tangles put together to form a Zen-tangle. It is an American method which promotes concentration and creativity and at the same time increases person well-being. It was invented by a monk named Rick Roberts and an artist named Maria Thomas. This is a fun and relaxing way to use your creativity to create your own “Zentangle” cuff bracelet.
You will Learn:
You will draw a unique design to be replicated in 14 gauge sterling silver wire, embellished with a tube bezel and accent with CZ stones. You will learn how to use positive/negative space as a design element, plus the economy provided by the use of wire, allows you to create larger pieces without the traditional limitations of cost and weight. Once you learn the technique, it can be used to make amazing “zentangle” earrings, pendants, and rings.
