Argentium Silver is a fantastic type of sterling silver that contains 1.2% germanium, 6.3% copper and 92.5% silver.  It is highly resistant to fire scale and is seven times more tarnish resistant then sterling. It can be fused easier then sterling silver which means it is often favored by metalsmiths. The main difference between Sterling and Argentium it that Argentium is stronger, whiter, and easier to fuse.
