Julie Boudreaux

Julie began creating jewelry over ten years ago, initially starting with beading, but rapidly expanding her interest to include other creative techniques. Her current work includes the use of Precious Metal Clay (PMC), wire, sheet metals and glass, often combining the media into a single piece. Her studies have included classes in wire wrapping, silversmithing, PMC and lampwork glass at William Holland School of Lapidary Arts and at Rio Grande. She taught herself how to fuse glass. She is a certified PMC artisan.

As a member of The Arts of Hancock County, she participated in past Arts Alive events and has displayed her work at the Waveland City Hall Gallery. She has taught classes for several years in fusing, wire work and specialized wire and beading techniques. She also has demonstrated PMC techniques to local art societies. She is a member of the Craftsmen’s Guild of Mississippi.  Her work can be seen at Gallery 782 in Biloxi and at the Mississippi Craftsman’s Guild shop in Ridgeland, Mississippi.
